The 1953 and 1954 Chevrolets
typically used 2 or 3 colors depending on the body style. The Bel-Air
for example used 3 colors. One for the lower body. The second was for
the top or "upper" area and the "Bel-Air" side trim. The third,
was often a different color used in the interior.
For the 1953 Chevrolet
that I was restoring, the lower body was "Woodland Green". The upper
color was "Campus Cream" and the body interior was both "Woodland Green" and
"Surf Green". These were the original stock colors.
